DAY-1: COCHIN – MUNNAR
Arrive in Cochin where you will meet our representative. transfer to Munnar. A 4 hour drive to Munnar through hill station. On the way visit Valara Falls, Cheeyappara Falls. Kallar Falls, Karadippara View Point. Arrival at a place which is called 'Heaven on earth'. On arrival at Munnar, check in at Hotel. Overnight at Hotel in Munnar.
DAY-2: MUNNAR
After breakfast, go for a sightseeing tour of Munnar, enjoy the serene views of Munnar, famous for its tea plantations, and Eravikulam National Park to view the rich flora and fauna .Enjoy some local food at a good restaurant. In the afternoon, visit tea museum, flower garden,Mattupetty Lake & Dam ,shooting point,and Echo Point, famous for its echo phenomenon. In the evening, return to your hotel.
DAY-3: MUNNAR - THEKKADY
After early breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Thekkady. Enroute, enjoy spice plantation tour. On arrival, check-in to the hotel. In the afternoon, proceed for a boat cruise through Periyar Lake at Thekkady, a soul stirring tour with cool breeze. Thekkady is synonymous with wildlife and nature treks. During the cruise you may stopover at this fascinating town and watch the wild animals in their natural habitat. In theevening, must go for KALARI SHOW (marshal art) , kathakali, elephant ride (– on direct payment basis). Spend the night in hotel.
DAY-4: THEKKADY-MADURAI
Start drive to Madurai.get transferred to the hotel. After checking-in, relax for some time and later visit the Meenakshi temple - one of the biggest temple complexes in India. It is an ancient centre of worship as well as an art gallery of vast proportions. After your visit, enjoy lunch (on direcrt payment), and return back to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.
DAY-5: MADURAI - RAMESHWARAM
After an early breakfast, check out of your hotel and drive to Rameshwaram. Upon arrival in Rameshwaram, check in to your hotel and later, visit Sri Ramanathaswami temple. This temple has 22 holy springs which are believed to have medicinal properties. After darshan, visit the Ghanthamathana Parvatham. From here, one can get a fine view of the island. Later, visit Dhanushkodi. Enjoy lunch on your own and return to your hotel. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY-6: RAMESHWARAM - KANNIYAKUMARY
After an early breakfast, check out of the hotel and proceed to Kanyakumari. Kanyakumari has been named after Goddess Parvati, in one of her incarnations as Devi Kanya, who did penance on one of the rocks of this land’s end to obtain the hand of Lord Shiva in marriage. On arrival, check into the hotel, relax for some time and visit Sri Kumari Amman Temple. After darshan, visit the Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Thiruvalluvar statue. You will need to use a boat to visit this beautiful memorial spot. Return back to the hotel in theevening and have a comfortable overnight stay.
DAY-7: KANIYAKUMARY - KOVALAM
After breakfast, check-out of the hotel & later Drive to Kovalam. Check into the hotel & later visit Poovar island, go for a motor boat trip (at own expenses) to golden sand beach of Poovar island which is at confluence of poovar river & indian ocean. During the boat trip experience the mangroves, fishermen’s village. You can enjoy your lunch on the floating restaurant. In evening return to your resort, enjoy overnight stay at Hotel.
DAY-8: KOVALAM- TRIVANDRUM-KOVALAM
After breakfast visit Napier Museum and zoological park, a walk through the lush green zoo will be a memorable experience. (Closed on Mondays) and Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple. Later in the evening, proceed towards Kovalam. stroll down the beautiful beaches of Kovalam. Visit the Kovalam beach that has been divided into three parts - Lighthouse Beach, Hawah Beach and the Samudra Beach. Also, have a look at the Vizhinjam Lighthouse and Mosque besides some other attractions located around the beach.
DAY-9: KOVALAM - ALLEPPEY
Drive to Allepey/kumarakom and reach by noon. On arrival, check-in to the houseboat & set out on an enchanting overnight backwater cruise in traditionally decorated houseboats. While cruising in these floating luxury-villas, let your eyes settle for the rare and the unusual - skim past Chinese fishing nets, bowed-down paddy fields, local inhabitants engaged in making coir products, rustic homes, ancient temples and swaying coconut groves. The food will be served onboard. Stay overnight on the houseboat and end this memorable cruise at Alleppey next morning. OR Alleppey After early breakfast, check out of the hotel and proceed to Allepey and arrive by the afternoon. In the evening,later go for sightseeing visiting Allepey beach and enjoy boat ride (directly payable there)in the backwaters of Alleppey,.Evening back to Resort and over night stay resort.
DAY-10: ALLEPPEY - COCHIN DROP
After breakfast, check-out of the hotel & later Drive to Cochin. Then After that our representative will leave you at cochin airport/ railway station.
