DAY-1: COCHIN
Board your flight and arrive at Cochin. proceed to hotel in Cochin (Kochi). Check in to the hotel and relax. Later ivisit Marine drive and MG Road, quick sightseeing tour of Fort Kochi covering Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis church, Chinese fishing nets. Overnight at Hotel in cochin.
DAY-2: COCHIN – MUNNAR
After breakfast . transfer to Munnar. A 4 hour drive to Munnar through Day : Cochin - Munnar By Car (135 Kms / 4 Hrs) transferred to Munnar, a beautiful hill station. Enroute, visit Valara Waterfalls, Cheeyappara waterfalls and then halt for refreshments at Munnar spices and Ayurvedic Garden (personal expense). Arrive and check-in at the hotel. Later you may go to visit the local market and buy aromatic tea from the shops here. Spend a comfortable overnight stay at the hot
DAY-3: MUNNAR (LOCAL SIGHTSEEING)
After breakfast, go for a sightseeing tour of Munnar, enjoy the serene views of Munnar, famous for its tea plantations, and Eravikulam National Park to view the rich flora and fauna .Enjoy some local food at a good restaurant. In the afternoon, visit tea museum, flower garden,Mattupetty Lake & Dam ,shooting point,and Echo Point, famous for its echo phenomenon. In the evening, return to your hotel
DAY-4: MUNNAR - THEKKADY
Munnar - Thekkady By Car (110 Kms / 4 Hrs) After an early breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Thekkady. Thekkady is synonymous with wildlife and nature treks. Enroute, halt for refreshments at Evergreen spices and Ayurvedic Garden (personal expense) . Arrive in Thekkady and check-in to your hotel and have lunch (personal expense). In the afternoon, proceed for a boat cruise at Periyar Lake in Thekkady, a soul stirring tour (on direct payment basis). . Later in the evening, you may go to the theater (non-air-conditioned/ on direct payment) to experience the traditional Kalari Show [on direct payment] or get involved in some shopping or opt for an Elephant Ride (on direct payment basis) in the evening. Return to the hotel in the evening and enjoy time at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY-5: THEKKADY
After Breakfast, Go for the boat cruise at periyar lake. (on direct payment basis). After Breakfast get involved into some shopping or one can opt for Spice Plantation Tour or Elephant Ride (on direct payment basis).
DAY-6: THEKKADY TO ALLEPPEY HOUSE BOAT
Drive to Allepey/kumarakom and reach by noon. On arrival, check-in to the houseboat & set out on an enchanting overnight backwater cruise in traditionally decorated houseboats. While cruising in these floating luxury-villas, let your eyes settle for the rare and the unusual - skim past Chinese fishing nets, bowed-down paddy fields, local inhabitants engaged in making coir products, rustic homes, ancient temples and swaying coconut groves. The food will be served onboard. Stay overnight on the houseboat and end this memorable cruise at Alleppey next morning.
DAY-7: ALEPPEY - KUMARAKOM
Kumarakom : Kumarakam is on the shores of the tranquil Vembanad lake, 14 km from Kottayam, lies Kumarakom a little picturesque town in the state of Kerala. The little village of Kumarakom consists of cluster of little islands on the Vembanad Lake, and is part of the Kuttanad region. Formerly an old rubber plantation, Kumarakom has now grown up as a bird sanctuary. Ornithologist’s paradise, Kumarakom is now a leisure haunt, very popular with domestic as well as foreign tourists. DAY-8: KUMARAKOM - KOVALAM
After breakfast, check-out of the hotel & later Drive to Kovalam. Check into the hotel & later visit Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple. Later in the evening, proceed towards the beautiful beaches of Kovalam. Visit the Kovalam beach that has been divided into three parts - Lighthouse Beach, Hawah Beach and the Samudra Beach. Also, have a look at the Vizhinjam Lighthouse and Mosque .over night stay at kovalam hotel.
DAY-9: KOVALAM – KANYKUMARI - KOVALAM
After breakfast, proceed to Kanyakumari (approx. 87KM one way), Visit Kumari Amman Temple, Vivekananda rock memorial, Gandhi Mandapam, and the beautiful statue of Tiruvalluvar, and 3 ocean meeting point as Indian Ocean, Bay of Bengal and Arabian Sea and return to Kovalam by evening.
DAY-10: TRIVANDRUM DROP
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Trivandrum for your journey back home with memories unlimited of your trip.
