DAY-1: COCHIN – MUNNAR
Cochin - Munnar By Car (135 Kms / 4 Hrs) Board your morning flight as per the schedule and arrive in Cochin. On reaching you will be met by and transferred to Munnar, a beautiful hill station. Enroute, visit Valara Waterfalls, Cheeyappara waterfalls and then halt for refreshments at Munnar spices and Ayurvedic Garden (personal expense). Arrive and check-in at the hotel. Later you may go to visit the local market and buy aromatic tea from the shops here. Spend a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY-2: MUNNAR (LOCAL SIGHTSEEING)
After breakfast, go for a sightseeing tour of Munnar, enjoy the serene views of Munnar, famous for its tea plantations, and Eravikulam National Park to view the rich flora and fauna .Enjoy some local food at a good restaurant. In the afternoon, visit tea museum, flower garden,Mattupetty Lake & Dam ,shooting point,and Echo Point, famous for its echo phenomenon. In the evening, return to your hotel.
DAY-3: MUNNAR- ALLEPPEY HOUSE BOAT
After breakfast, check-out of the hotel & later Drive to Alleppey. On arrival, check-in to the houseboat & set out on an enchanting overnight backwater cruise in traditionally decorated houseboats. You will be greeted with welcome drink,tea,snaks, mineral water,lunch, dinner and breakfast. While cruising in these floating luxury-villas, let your eyes settle for the rare and the unusual - skim past Chinese fishing nets, bowed-down paddy fields, local inhabitants engaged in making coir products, rustic homes, ancient temples and swaying coconut groves. The food will be served onboard. Stay overnight on the houseboat and end this memorable cruise at Alleppey next morning. Honeymoon special flower bed and candle light dinner will be arranged in the house boat.
DAY-4: ALLEPPEY - KOVALAM
After breakfast, check-out of the hotel & later Drive to Kovalam. Check into the hotel & later visit Poovar island, go for a motor boat trip (at own expenses) to golden sand beach of Poovar island which is at confluence of poovar river & indian ocean. During the boat trip experience the mangroves, fishermen’s village. You can enjoy your lunch on the floating restaurant. In evening return to your resort, enjoy overnight stay at Hotel.
DAY-5: KOVALAM –TRIVANDRUM –KOVALAM
After breakfast visit Napier Museum and zoological park, a walk through the lush green zoo will be a memorable experience. (Closed on Mondays) and Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple. Later in the evening, proceed towards Kovalam.. stroll down the beautiful beaches of Kovalam. Visit the Kovalam beach that has been divided into three parts - Lighthouse Beach, Hawah Beach and the Samudra Beach. Also, have a look at the Vizhinjam Lighthouse and Mosque besides some other attractions located around the beach.
DAY-6: TRIVANDRUM DROP
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Trivandrum for your journey back home with memories unlimited of your trip.
