DAY-1: COCHIN- ALLEPPEY HOUSEBOAT
Arrive in Cochin where you will meet our representative. transfer to Alleppey house boat . On arrival, check-in to the houseboat & set out on an enchanting overnight backwater cruise in traditionally decorated houseboats. While cruising in these floating luxury-villas, let your eyes settle for the rare and the unusual - skim past Chinese fishing nets, bowed-down paddy fields, local inhabitants engaged in making coir products, rustic homes, ancient temples and swaying coconut groves. The food will be served onboard. Stay overnight on the houseboat and end this memorable cruise at Alleppey next morning.
DAY-2: Alleppey- Kumarakom
After breakfast, check-out of the hotel & transfer to Kumarakom. Kumarakam is on the shores of the tranquil Vembanad lake, 14 km from Kottayam, lies Kumarakom a little picturesque town in the state of Kerala. The little village of Kumarakom consists of cluster of little islands on the Vembanad Lake, and is part of the Kuttanad region. Formerly an old rubber plantation, Kumarakom has now grown up as a bird sanctuary. Ornithologist’s paradise, Kumarakom is now a leisure haunt, very popular with domestic as well as foreign tourists. An enchanting backwater destination, Kumarakom offers visitors many other leisure options like – boating and fishing, very popular with the visitors.The beauty of nature amidst spectacular mangrove forests, coconut canopies and pulsating paddy fields peppered with enchanting waterways and canals decked with wild lilies, adds to the beauty of its surroundings. Kumarakom is the place for the people looking for a lazy and laid back holiday.
DAY-3: Kumarakom- Munnar
Cochin - Munnar By Car (135 Kms / 4 Hrs) Board your morning flight as per the schedule and arrive in Cochin. On reaching you will be met by and transferred to Munnar, a beautiful hill station. Enroute, visit Valara Waterfalls, Cheeyappara waterfalls and then halt for refreshments at Munnar spices and Ayurvedic Garden (personal expense). Arrive and check-in at the hotel. Later you may go to visit the local market and buy aromatic tea from the shops here. Spend a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY-4: Munnar (Local Sightseeing)
After breakfast, go for a sightseeing tour of Munnar, enjoy the serene views of Munnar, famous for its tea plantations, and Eravikulam National Park to view the rich flora and fauna .Enjoy some local food at a good restaurant. In the afternoon, visit tea museum, flower garden,Mattupetty Lake & Dam ,shooting point,and Echo Point, famous for its echo phenomenon. In the evening, return to your hotel.
DAY-5: Cochin Departure
After having breakfast drive to Cochin . And get transfer to the Airport/ railway stationDrive back to your home with sweet memories.
